The Department of Political Science is actively involved in promoting international initiatives through framework agreements with European and non-European universities. These agreements aim to promote cooperation in key areas such as teaching, training, research, and student and faculty mobility.

Mexico Chair in Political Science
The Mexico Chair in Political Science is an academic collaboration program promoted by the University of Pisa together with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), one of the most prestigious universities in the country. It is an initiative aimed at strengthening cultural and scientific ties between Italy and Mexico, promoting the mobility of students and faculty, and developing joint research projects in the field of political and social sciences.

Agreement with the Georg Simmel Gesellschaft
The Department has entered into a formal agreement to regulate joint teaching and research activities with the Georg Simmel Gesellschaft, an international society based at Bielefeld University in Germany, dedicated to promoting the work of the German sociologist and philosopher Georg Simmel. It brings together more than one hundred scholars worldwide and publishes the journal Simmel Studies.
