Academic Board
The Academic Board comprises professors from the University of Pisa, as well as other Italian and international universities. The Board is also composed of two representatives of doctoral students.

The Board usually meets every four months.
In particular, the Council is convened in conjunction with the day that inaugurates the start of the new PhD cycle and the change of year of the current doctoral students given the accreditation procedures for the next cycle and, finally, on the occasion of the definition of the commissions of the new competitions for admission to the PhD Course.
The Board is also called upon to meet whenever resolutions are necessary concerning the organizational life of the PhD Course.
PhD Executive Committee
In addition to the Coordinator, the PhD Executive Committee includes three members of the Academic Board and a representative of doctoral students.
