Presentation of projects
At the beginning of the academic year, first-year PhD students are invited to present their research projects to the Teachers’ Council and to other PhD students who are already enrolled.
The presentation of the projects is intended as a training opportunity to receive feedback on one’s work from teachers and colleagues.
In the same venue, doctoral students who have completed the first and second years, respectively, submit a written report on the activity carried out (using the appropriate template) to be delivered without delay within the deadline established by the Council. Third-year doctoral students submit a final three-year report, which lists the set of activities carried out during the entire doctoral cycle, along with a draft of the thesis.
Absence from end-of-year interviews, unless previously justified by the Council, will result in the ineligibility of the PhD student for the following year or, in the case of PhD students in their third year, for the final exam. For information on methods of delivery, pre-evaluation, discussion of the thesis, and related deadlines, please refer to the University’s PhD Regulations.
